Then, duplicate the brush layer and merge. One has to brush in a separate layer, and erase it (whether the person wants to create a lineart or paint shapes or shadows.) Then, select the gradient tool, and, starting close or in the middle of the stroke, expand the gradient. I've found that a combination of brushes (with an eraser to shape it), a radial gradient (set to transparency mode), and median can give me a decent result. It was a time when I was really concerned about making a good lineart (because I didn't and don't have a graphics tablet.) Also, there's the option of drawing the strokes, scan them and tweak them, like in this tutorial, by acsoundwave. For mac users: What program do you use to color? ( I've tried painter but it's not for me.I found this tutorial (by RuokDbz98) helpful.Do you know if there are tools you can download for clip studio that are similar to the blur tool?.If you use Clip Studio, what are your tricks? How do you use your blur tool? What settings do you use?.It's not as smooth and it doesn't blend as nicely as SAI's blur tool. I want to be able to do color drawings again but that darn blur tool is stopping me. ![]() I'm currently drawing my comic there but since its in b/w I haven't had any problem. I got into the task of finding a similar program to SAI and found Clip Studio, which is nice and all. So I stopped using it and I also had to stop drawing because it was a nightmare. I have a macbook and I had to install a virtual machine on it only to use SAI but I hate it. I love the interface and all its tools, specially the blur tool. I used to use SAI and I fell completely in love with it. ![]()
